HyperActive Technologies Trade Show Product Demonstrations By John Bugay October 22, 2008
Trade Show Environment • Shows in 2008: • 14 shows in all • Three types of shows: • “Major” Corporate Shows (FS/TEC, DineAmerica, MURTEC) • “Franchisee” Shows (KFC, LJS, Arby’s, others) • “Reseller” events • Multiple Configurations • FS/TEC “HyperDrive Café,” 20x30 ft, all products • “Reduced format • The booth “out there” • Tabletop Display
Trade Show Environment • The Changing Environment: • Joe’s philosophy: “If you look like a big company, you’ll become a big company. (That’s the rationale behind FS/TEC) • Down Side: Major shipping/set-up costs with the “HyperDrive Café” booth • My presence needed “on site” for this setup. • Evolving Needs and Preferences: • Heavy pre-show marketing • Tabletop Display saves costs
Trade Show Environment • Current “Inventory”: • Fitz Conference Room: • Dell 620, 3 ELO monitors (Ajay has rigged to show QTimer). • Cublicle Next to Rod • Web Demo – All Products (incl. Flytech Card for HyperView) • Xpient POS System • Currently “Out” • QTimer (4.0, using “Event Playback”) • HyperView (with Flytech Card – Arby’s Images) • HP Laptop driving HyperView XT (Arby’s images)
Trade Show Environment • Near Term • Jennifer @ Cousins Subs • Will be arriving from Arby’s today (?) • Needed in Chicago by Friday • Jack, Ajay, Dan @ Wendy’s, October 30 • Xpient POS? • Wendy’s Data? • Hardee’s Franchisee’s, November 17-20
Trade Show Environment Tentative 2009:
Trade Show Environment • Considerations Going Forward: • Show the Latest systems (ease of upgrading) • “Customer-specific” images (and POS) • Or, Generic HyperActive Burger, Chicken, Fish data • Internet Access to demonstrate live reports? • “No chance at errors” by creating “loops” • “Event Playback” • Powerpoints showing HyperView orders, QTimer Loop, Reports, etc. • “Remote Support” • Documentation for on-site setup • Familiarity for Client Services
