  3. Appearance • Size-As big as a short adult • Height- males 5.6’ upright, females 3.6’ upright Weight –males 300-500lbs • Color-black or brown-gray • Type of skin-red head black skin with fur • Arm span up to 9.2’

  4. Eating Habits • They’re food includes a variety of plants along with a few insects and worms. • They eat fruit, leaves and shoots all day along with insects • They also eat ants and termites

  5. Behaviors • Number of babies- one baby every 3 to 4 years • How care for- they carry their baby around with them • Protection- they stand and pound on their chest
