  2. The Plan • Objective: Create a makeup worksheet for a fantasy character. • Agenda: Journal; Review Makeup 101; SFX Notes and Demo; The Fly Makeup Worksheet; Summary and Reflection. • Journal: Please list three steps for applying basic corrective makeup out of order.

  3. Review • Find someone with whom you do not generally speak and have them number your three steps in order and sign that they completed it. • Quick Review of steps… • The difference between BASIC, CHARACTER, and SPECIAL EFFECTS is…

  4. Character Makeup • Uses primarily COLOR.

  5. Special Effects Makeup • Tends to use latex or plastic prosthetics.

  6. The Fly • We will read the story as a class. • As we read, write down any notes for makeup. • Volunteers (or those who may be voluntold) will highlight makeup notes in the text. • You will select one makeup look for Seth and create a makeup worksheet, due at the end of class.
