Connecting with the Creator • Genesis 4:1 (NIV) Adam made loveto his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. • “made love” from Hebrew word “YADA” • The word has no sexual connotation! • Only when combined with the Hebrew word WAHTAHAR do the NIV translators, based on context give the sexual interpretation.

Your Spiritual High • Let’s think back to when you felt closest to God: • Was it always in your quiet times? • Was it when you were in the fellowship? • Or when you were praying out in nature? • Maybe it was when you were serving with HOPE? • Or possibly during a wonderful time of in-depth Bible study? • What was it for you?
