Harman Automotive • Franklin, KY • Added zone temperature/humidity monitoring to production areas (Tridium NDIO). • Integrated Nortec humidifiers (BACnet/IP). • Replaced 9 rooftop units and control with Solidyne BACnet control modules (BACnet/MSTP). • This job will demonstrate Solidyne M2 BACnet/MSTP control and BACnet/IP control.
Harman AutomotiveUser Interface (JACE 6 with NDIO Card): • 16 Zone temperature/humidity sensors are connected to the NDIO card to monitor temperature/humidity throughout the production area. The JACE is programmed through wire sheet to control the humidifiers. • Solidyne M2 BACnet control modules are programmed through ICMS 5.0 to control the 9 rooftop units. The control modules communicate with the JACE through BACnet/MSTP. • Harman plans to replace rooftop units in the future and change over the existing Carrier VVT system which will allow us to add more Solidyne M2 and M2V BACnet controllers. • Harman also plans to add the existing air compressors to the JACE that will allow us to use Modbus communication.
