FAT A part of food Supplies energy Keeps body warm Types of Fat • Trans Fat • Found processed food • Can raise blood cholesterol and risks of heart disease • Unsaturated Fat • Found in plant foods and fish • May be good for health • Saturated Fat • Found in meat, palm oil, coconut oil and other animal products • Can raise blood cholesterol and risks of heart disease
