Year End to do list… • Retentions • Non Grads • Year End Attendance & Withdrawals • Demographics
Retentions: K-11th • KG-11th grade students scheduled to repeat a grade should be marked as ‘Retained’ on the enrollment tab for the current school year. • If the student is completing the school year, DO NOT add an end date or end status. • Retentions (KG-11th) must be entered no later than May, 22nd .
Non Grads • 12TH grade students not graduating should have the ‘Graduation(Year End Status)’on the Enrollments Tab completed. • Do NOT add an end date or end status on the current school year. • Year end coding for non graduates must be entered no later than: May 22nd.
Year End Attendance & Withdrawals • Attendance for the last week of school should be taken as normal. • No student should have a withdrawal on the last day of school. • If you are informed of a student who is completing this school year but will not attend your campus next year : Complete the summer withdrawal on the 14/15 enrollment line (S1 or S99).
Demographics • Run the ADHOC report ‘Missing Demographic Information’ • Make sure all demographic information has been added to IC for all students. • All Demographic should be entered by May 22nd.

Withdrawals • SAIS expects students who completed the 13/14 school year to attend the 14/15 school year – (This includes 7th & 9th graders who completed the year at their elementary or junior high and are expected to attend the feeder junior high or high schools). • S99- Transfer within district: Students who have not returned to your campus but are attending another GPS campus : Enter the Summer withdrawal information to allow the new GPS campus can create the 14/15 line. • S1- Transfer Out of District: Students who have moved over summer: Enter Summer Withdrawal Information. • S4- NO SHOW: Students who do not show, with no correspondence the first 10 days of school: Wait until the 10th day of school (August 19,2014) and enter Summer Withdrawal Information.
Attendance • Reminder: The only time a student can be marked absent on their first day of enrollment, is the official first day of the school year: August 6,2014 (no exceptions)
SAIS Information Students who already have a SAIS number in IC: • Remember not to correct misspellings of names, incorrect date or births, or incorrect genders. • The information may only be corrected after a successful upload for the 14/15 school year has taken place.
Uploads • After the first upload is completed, we will send an email of any errors that need to be corrected prior to the next upload. • The email will include the error and how to correct the error in IC. • SAIS uploads occur a minimum of every 20 days.
Kindergarten • ADE does not fund second year KG. • Remember to modify the ‘Payer Code’ on the Enrollments Tab for students repeating kindergarten.
