MISSOURI REVERSE TRANSFER INITIATIVE PROCESS STEPS (for both new transfers / currently enrolled students at Host 4-year school) ADGI (RECORDS) Run degree audit on all opt-in students; contact student and 4-year host school with degree status and course recommendations HOST (IR/RECORDS) Send list of opt-in students to 2-year along with opt-in verification from 4-year host school STUDENT Provides official transcripts from other previously attended colleges to AA DGI. HOST (RTPC) Contact eligible students STUDENT Opt in HOST (IR/RECORDS) Identifystudents based on parameters for RT STUDENT Opt out HOST (IR/RECORDS) Send list of courses completed to the AA DGI ADGI (RECORDS) Contact student to notify him/her all courses are completed for award of declared degree ADGI (RECORDS) Request official transcript from 4-year on all AA degree completers; award diploma to student ADGI (RECORDS) Send final transcript to 4-year host HOST (IR/RECORDS) Remove all degree completers from MRTA active student group Key to Abbreviations: ADGI = Associate (of Arts) Degree Granting Institution HOST- Baccalaureate Institution IR = Institutional Research MRTA = Missouri Reverse Transfer Agreement RT = Reverse Transfer RTPC = Reverse Transfer Program Coordinator

2. 4-YEAR (IR/RECORDS)Identify students based on parameters for RT(October 1) • Number of Credit hours ( TBD) • To consider: degree seeking at time of transfer; definition of transfer student at receiving institution( hours and GPA) • IR run list the first semester of attendance at 4 yr institution( Fall and Spring) • IR run the eligible student list by last MO community college attended on October 1st and March 1st • Date rationale- census completed • Create a student group ( Banner, Uselect, ,etc.) of eligible students for purposes of tracking progress of students
