European Union Member State changes. • Language proficiency key to labour market success and social inclusion. • Understanding labour market contexts • Understanding recruitment processes • Recognition of informal learning .

(process – implementation): The project sought accreditation of the Learning Language for Work programme in each partner country (Germany, Hungary, Ireland and Romania) and used the European Qualification framework as tool to aid this activity. This would contribute to participants’ learning being recognised across the European Union. • Geographical transfer • Transferring existing materials to new partner countries • Work Package 1: Development of Critical Success Factors • Advisory Groups established in partner countries • Work Package 3: Development of Customisation of Learning Materials • Adaptation and translation to new contexts • Work Package 4: Piloting • Testing materials with target group

(results with regard to European priority): • Course referenced to level B2 on Common European Framework Reference for Language, Learning, Teaching and Assessment (CEFR). • Participants learning recognised across Europe. • Learning Language for Work programme in Ireland, students who participated in the programme are in a position to receive a national qualification.
