Take pictures, write notes, show this on this page. Write a summary of your findings: What common themes were there? What aspects might you use in your project? What other research could you do from here?

  6. Target Market Research Write a target profile of a customer / user for your product: What sector of the market are you aiming for I.e. business, leisure, education etc? Who is you product aimed at? What do they do? What are they interested in? How old are they? How much approximately do they earn? How much spare time do they have? What can you do to your product / design to make it appealing to them? Use images and examples to support your statements.

  10. Drawn Development Use this page to evidence your final large pencil / fine liner drawing of your intended product

  11. Development CAD Use this page to detail the process you followed in CAD and/or evidence your final 2D design developments. Include dimensions

  12. Tools and Materials Use the tools and materials charts supplied by your teacher to fill out this page. List each tool for your project: List any safety issues with them: List how you intend to use them: Add a picture of the tool or material: e.g.

Make sure the evidence is stage by stage Make clear notes about three or more modifications you will make as a result of testing your models Show design progression in your prototypes Focus on the form/function and mechanics of the item when modeling Write up a summary of modifications at the end of this page…

  15. Production Planning Use a flow chart diagram to chart the flow of each stage of your project: Initial Designs: Modeling and development: Surface graphic development: Final Making: Remember to include feedback loops for demonstrating quality control checking. e.g.

  16. Surface Graphic Development Use this page to layout any design progress you make in Photoshop or other applications. Take regular screen shots of your design work, write short statements detailing the processes you use. Explain why you took the design decisions that you did. e.g.

  17. Making Diary 1 Evidence the making of the final product here: Show regular images of the main stages of your making process Write notes to support your images Explain any issues you had and how you solved them e.g.

  18. Making Diary 2 Evidence the making of the final product here: Show regular images of the main stages of your making process Write notes to support your images Explain any issues you had and how you solved them

  19. Final Product Testing Place an image or images of your final product here and write any notes about the final product: How can you improve on it?
