  2. 20 -Year community plan shaped by Hillsboro residents and stakeholders • Began in 1997 asking community members “what do you want Hillsboro to look like in the Year 2020?” • Community ideas were collected and developed through a Vision Task Force • 2020 Vision and Action Plan adopted by City Council in 2000 and finished 5 years early Hillsboro 2020
