  13. 2019 Daniels Scholars The Daniels Scholarship Program provides a four-year annually-renewable college scholarship for graduating high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional character, leadership, and a commitment to serving their communities. • 2 students from CEC – Douglas County • 1 student from CEC – Fort Collins • 1 student from CEC – Aurora • 1 student from Victory Preparatory Academy

  14. Grant Recipients This school year, CSI has seen growth in: # of schools applying for grants # of grants being applied for $ awarded to CSI schools Over $20.8M in competitive grants has been awarded to CSI schools this school year to date!

  25. 2019-2020 School Improvement Fellowship The School Improvement Fellowship seeks to help school leaders build a culture of continuous improvement at their school, provide an opportunity to network with other improvement-focused school leaders, and to make the best use of the system in which leaders already operate. Logistics • Three in-person sessions, featuring an in-field expert (non-CSI) • Each fellow is assigned a coach, and will receive at least 3 one-on-one coaching sessions • No cost to participate for accepted Fellows. Travel and materials covered by CSI Eligibility • Limited to 8 Fellows • Open to school leaders and members of admin/leadership team Applications • Application in April and May CSI newsletters or here: www.surveymonkey.com/r/QH5N99S • Applications accepted through May 24th Contact Ryan Marks or Jessica Welch for more information

  26. 2019-2020 Relay Leadership Development The Relay Leadership Development opportunities seek to building capacity around special education in CSI schools by connecting aspiring leaders with education and leadership development within the Relay Graduation School of Education.   28. SPED MOU Updates • Annual agreement • Addition of 1% SPED Reserve • 1% of Oct 2018 actual funded pupil count x $10K • Cap of $90K • Shift from school-based Coordinators to CSI SPED Coordinators

School Visits & Celebrations • May 2nd: Terry to visit Indian Peaks and Mountain Village • May 9th: Representative Michaelson Jenetand Terry to visit New Legacy • May 14th – 16th: Terry to visit Mountain Middle and Animas • We’re looking forward to graduations! July 2019 marks CSI’s 15th Anniversary!
