DTM – Anne Chapman • Toastmastering for 6 years • Member of Heritage Toastmasters, Business Matters, and Five Seasons Leadership Academy. • Best piece of advice: Toastmasters has many opportunities for you to gain the skills you want--you may have to seek those opportunities, or be able to recognize them when they come your way. • Earning DTM was important to me because I am incredibly proud to have achieved my DTM. When going through the advanced manuals, I tried to find a manual that I thought I would really like and a manual that might be a little bit of a struggle for me. It turns out all the manuals have some tough projects! I am not done...I can easily imagine going through all the advanced manuals in the communication track. www.toastmasters.org
DTM – Ike Rayford • Toastmastering since 1997 • Member of Top O Morning and Professionally Speaking • Best piece of advice: Never stop growing, achievement is tied to growth so let growth be your promoter. • Earning DTM is important to me because I wanted to achieve a personal and club goal. Plus Its the highest award given had to get mine.
DTM- Paul Wood •Toastmastering 36 years •Member of Heritage, Downtowners Watts of Talk, 5 Seasons Leadership Academy, Speakers of the Corn. •Best piece of advice: You are unique and your speaking and leadership skills are already inside you, so never be afraid to use them, and to learn from your errors. •Earning DTM is important to me because to be a leader in Toastmasters I wanted to show by example what can be achieved with patience, persistence and support.
