  9. IV. CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT • Assisted the State Board of Technical Education, Punjab in designing new curricula of Food Technology. • Provided general assistance to Curriculum Development Centre in the revision of various curricula as and when requested.

  12. INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTION BY FACULTY MEMBERS 1. Dr. SK Dhameja, Professor & Head • Dr. SK Dhameja delivered extension lecture on Entrepreneurship for second and final year students of Interior Designing at MBIT New Delhi. • Dr. SK Dhameja coordinated the training programmes under World Bank Assisted TEQIP-II project of NPIU. Teams of Participants from Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, UP, Haryana and other states took training on Pedagogical Concepts and Content matter updating. • Dr. SK Dhameja acted as a panelist in PTU sponsored national conference on ‘Green Business Practices – Challenges and Solutions‘ at Rayat & Bahra Institute of Management, Kharar (Mohali, Punjab). • Dr. SK Dhameja acted as Course Coordinator and Chief Resource Person in the CPSC, Manila, Philippines Incountry Programme on “Entrepreneurship Education in TVET’’ w.e.f. 10-14 February, 2014 at CTEVT, Kathmandu, Nepal. He also organized a national seminar on ‘Strengthening Entrepreneurship Education in TVET Sector of Nepal ‘on 12th February, 2014 and presented a paper on “Emerging Global Trends : Social Women and Rural Entrepreneurship”.

  13. Dr. SK Dhameja acted as Course Coordinator and Chief Resource Person in the CPSC, Manila, Philippines Incountry Programme on ‘Strategic Planning of TVET Institutions’ w.e.f. 9-13 Nov., 2013 at DTE, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He also organized a national seminar on ‘Strategic Planning of TVET in Bangladesh ‘on 12th‘November, 2013 in Bangladesh. • Dr. SK Dhameja coordinated CPSC Manila-NITTTR Chandigarh collaborative Regional Programme on ‘TVET for Sustainable and Inclusive Development’ w.e.f 27 May to 1 June, 2013and one day International Conference on Current Practices and Emerging Issues in Sustainable Development in TVET’ on 30.5.2013. • As Mentor and Performance Auditor of 6 Engineering Institutions in Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, Dr. SK Dhameja provided assistance under TEQIP-II project of Govt. of India. • Need based assistance provided to engineering colleges and polytechnics in the northern region for conduct of Entrepreneurship Development and Industry-Institute Interaction activities.

Presented a paper on ‘Teaching Business Entrepreneurship in Technical Education using Blue Ocean Strategy ‘, European Academic Conference on Business Tourism and Hospitality at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada, 15 -17 October, 2014. • Published a paper on ‘Concept, Issues and Challenges of Social Entrepreneurship ‘, published in Research Indian Journal on Management, Vol. 3 No. 1, October 2013 to March 2014 authored by Dr. SK Dhameja and Er. PK Singla. • Presented two papers on Application of Blue Ocean Strategy for Entrepreneurship Promotion – Social Entrepreneurship – Contribution and Challenges in an International Conference on Emerging Markets and issues in Management ‘on VIT Vellore on 19-20 April, 2013 and also chaired a technical session on social entrepreneurship • Visiting faculty to Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration, Punjab, Chandigarh

  15. Individual contribution by Faculty Members 2. Er. Amardev Singh • Er. Amardev Singh Represented the OBC category in the selection panel for the post of Assistant Director, BOAT, Kanpur • Er. Amardev Singh Acted as Guest faculty and engaged classes on weekends for the subject of Research Methodology-I (M.Arch-105) for the students of M.Arch (Architecture Education and research) of Punjab Institute of Technology, Khunimajra (PITKH Mohali). • Er. Amardev Singh delivered extension lecture on ‘Knowledge, Skill and Attitude for Career Progression’ thereby deliberated upon development of a career, essentialities of entrepreneurship and developing & utilization of green technologies for the post graduate / graduate students from management department at Universal Business School, Universal Group of Institutions, Lalru, Dera Bassi, Dist. Mohali.

  16. Er. Amardev Singh delivered extension lectures on ‘Achievement Motivation’ and Human Resource Planning and Development’ for the trainees of a 6 weeks Food Processing Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) organized by Centre for Industrial and Management Consultants, Kanpur at Panchkula, Haryana. • Resource person & engaged session in ISTE and PTU sponsored FDP by Desh Bhagat Foundation Group of Institutions, Moga, Punjab. • Resource Person on Green Technology at Chandigarh University, Gharaun

FUTURE PLANS FOR NEXT THREE YEARS • Sponsored Research and Consultancy Projects in MSME, Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, Accreditation, etc. • International training programmes on different facets of Entrepreneurship, MSME Start-up and Management, Human Resource Development, etc. • Enhanced collaboration with National Institutes of Entrepreneurship like EDII, Ahmedabad; NIESBUD, Noida, NI-MSME, Hyderabad, etc. • Campus placement of ME students
