We have changed the day from Thursday to Tuesday as Thursday was very busy with Bush Kindy. • Calendars For Sale • It’s that time of year again when we are selling calendars. Please have a look at your children’s art work for the calendars. • Art calendar: $10 • Photo calendar: $12 • Cards: $12 • Notepads: $12 • Diaries: $15 • Last day for ordering 15thOctober We would like to: Welcome: Imra Farewell: Ben & Lewis Harihuri tau ki a koe (happy birthday) to: Mikayla, Jacey and Reid Kia Ora Koutou. Up & Coming Events Hot Pink Walk Some of the staff are participating in the Hot Pink Walk for Breast Cancer on Wednesday 22nd October . We are meeting at the Masonic Park next to the Phoenix, The Strand at 5.45pm if you would like to join us. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at Z Station’s , Smiths Sports Shoes or House of Travel. Nigel Latta Nigel Latta will be presenting “The Modern Family Survival Guide” on Tuesday 28th October at Bethlehem Baptist Church @ 7pm. Tickets are $30 and available online from Eventfinder or call Creative Tauranga, Willow St. Christmas Float The Children’s Garden Childcare have decided to enter a float in the Tauranga Christmas Parade which will take place on Saturday 29th November . We will be needing Children and Parents to help and will keep you informed with what is happening as we plan. Children’s Christmas Party The Family Christmas Party will be held on Wednesday 10th December at Waipuna Park from 5.30-8pm. I will be sending home a notice soon. Jump Rope For Heart We have raised $115.50 for the Heart Foundation, thanks to all our wonderful children who practised their skipping skills. Thank you to all the Parents who have returned the Parent survey forms. We have discussed the outcomes at our staff meeting and are very happy with the results. There are a couple of suggestions that we will be working towards .re: Sign in & out area: we will be looking at ways to improve this area. Watching of movies: This will only be done on a planned basis, such as a movie day which will be advertised . Staff Changes: there have been quite a few relievers working at the centre over the last few months due to staff sickness , maternity leave etc. As of the 20th October we will have all regular staff back on board with Sarah Waugh coming on board full time. Aimee will be returning to work in March 2015. Sports & Exercise Programme Survey Attached is a link for a market survey which is aimed at parents of children between the ages of 2 & 6 years old, and consists mostly of multiple-choice questions. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/W6ZJ6RN We appreciate you taking the time to complete this survey.
