Some NT passages on NOAH: Matt 24:37-38; Lk 17:26-27; Heb 11:7 Matt 24:37-38 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; Lk17:26-27 “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. Heb 11:7 “By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith!”

  10. III. How Does This Sinner (Me & Noah--& you!) Move From Understanding to CONVICTION [Gen 6:32]?PROCESS of GOD:~By understanding (Heb 11:7) GRACE is COSTLY to his CREATOR, Noah becomes convinced enough to ‘count the cost’! ~By cultivating “holy fear” (awe)—probably a regular habit of ‘building a (LAMB-CENTERED**) altar’...8:20...Noah becomes convinced!The movie “Saving Private Ryan” illustrates how a **substitutionary sacrifice for you...can result in...awe!
