ADDENDUM (Primary) • Considering all grades in Primary; the performance of our District is at 92.9% and we have failed at 7,1% • It seems to be strange to find Musaza Sector in the 3 first best Performers and in the last 3 Sectors which have failed: This is the results of 15 students at Gacuba PS who have been caught in cheating, whereas other Schools have well performed • We are facing challenges of children dropout due to their Parents’ domestic activities who brought them back at school during National Exams. • At this level we are requesting Competent Authorities (Sector) to make a follow up on Parents and PTA on this issue.
ADDENDUM (Secondary) • Considering all grades in secondary; the performance of our District is at 87% and we have failed at 13% • In secondary School we did not notice any cheating case • The first 3 best Performers Sectors (Kigina, Gahara and Nasho) have done a great job because they are also the 3 last Sectors on the list of those who failed • Nyamugali Sector faced many difficulties along 2013 school year due to the bad Leadership of some of the Schools, among them GS Paysannat G is the example where the Headmaster disappeared after disturbing the Education system in the whole Sector. • In Mahama Sector they put more emphasis in primary School than Secondary level. • We need Sector support in School administration follow up for giving advices and punishment wherever possible.
