STEP #2 Once you have completed the online application, you will receive an email with your Panther Web Student ID and Pin. When you receive this you must immediately register for anAdvisement Session from your Panther Web account. Failure to register in a timely manner may result in you not being permitted to register for your desired dual enrollment course as these sessions fill up quickly. DO THIS ASAP!!!!!!
Palm Beach State College Advisement Session Sign in to your Panther Web account Click on information on the menu bar. Select Dual Enrollment Advising sessions. Sign up for an advising session ASAP!!!!!
STEP #3 If you have already done a Dual Enrollment class before, this is where you will begin the process!!!!! Search on Panther Web for open classes and complete the sample Triplicate Permission Form with COURSE ID # and REFERENCE NUMBER.
When selecting the time for your course(s), please remember that it is recommended you pick a time of 3:30 p.m. or later. If not, there will be a conflict due to LTM, Semester Exam and PV Testing schedules.
STEP #4 See your counselor by March 7th for Summer B and by April 22 for Fall 2014 with the sample triplicate permission form & enrollment rules COMPLETED for their approval.
STEP #5 Take the triplicate permission form, A14 & A20 screens that will be completed by your counselor to the PBSC registration office for processing. This needs to be done 48 hoursPRIOR to March 24th for Summer B and May 6th for Fall 2014 so that you can select your course online.
STEP #6 Once the previous steps are completed, you may go online to secure your class and print your schedule. Online registration begins at midnight on March 24th for Summer B and May 6th for Fall 2014 (the first day of registration).
STEP #7 Take the printed schedule to the Guidance office to obtain your “Book Voucher”.

If NO registration is completed online or advisement session is scheduled prior to March 24 for Summer B and May 6 for Fall 2014, NO classes can be selected when it is time to register for a class online.
Important Information • Your grade from PBSC will be sent directly to Park Vista at the end of the college semester. It will be entered into your academic record but will not be shown on your School District of Palm Beach County report card. • In order to receive the dual enrollment credits as college level credits, you are reminded that upon high school graduation you must request PBSC to forward your official PBSC transcript to the college or university into which you enroll. • You must earn a “C” or higher in the present dual enrollment course to be eligible for future dual enrollment courses.
Important Test Score Information If you do not have an SAT, ACT or PERT score, obtain a free PERT voucher from the Admissions Office at Palm Beach State College by completing the online application and letting them know that you are a dual enrollment student. You will then present this voucher and a valid photo ID to the Testing Center at Palm Beach State College where you will take the PERT. The Testing Center’s hours are Mondays and Thursdays 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Fridays 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. You can call 561-868-3012 for an appointment if you choose. Allow approximately two hours for the testing.
PVCHS’ WITHDRAWAL POLICY VS PBSC’S WITHDRAWAL POLICY If you decide to withdraw from a dual enrollment class, you must do so during the add/drop period. You will not be allowed to withdraw after the final ADD/DROP date provided by the college. Summer B = June 25 Fall 2014 = August 28 PBSC allows their students to withdraw from a class with a “W” after the Drop/Add period up until a predetermined date, Park Vista does not allow this!!!!!
Keep in mind that the academic calendar for Park Vista may not match that of the college. The fact that Park Vista is not in session does not guarantee that college classes will be cancelled as well. Summer B runs June 24 – August 5 Fall 2014 runs August 22 – December 18
