Vision and Mission • Vision: • Large scale creation of sustainable livelihoods • Mission: • “Build capacity, develop business models and manage processes to create economic, social and environmental value on a large scale.”
ABOUT TLA… • Established in 2007 as yet another vehicle of DA to disseminate sustainable development • Aims at Capacity Building for social empowerment, asset creation, income generation and entrepreneurship development • Target Group – youth, women and community groups • Three pronged strategy of TLA: • Skill and knowledge building on advanced rural on-farm and off-farm livelihood options • Life skill development and vocational training to enhance employability in the new urban economy • Training on enterprise development with access to credit and market linkages for self- employment
