A collation of safety and security event management experts was established at the Yas commissioning and testing of the venue, for the inaugural Formula 1™ Grand Prix and for the following event calendar year (2010). 2. At the Yas Marina Circuit our venue management, event safety, security and crowd management solutions extended to more than the traditional areas of a venue, at times providing 22 consultants in various key roles throughout the organisation. The project provided of planning and delivery as well as leaving behind a legacy of policies, plans and procedures including a training library of lessons, presentations and documents in hard and soft copy. KARAKITSOS GROUP SERVICES (1/4) • Our Firm has the experience and expertise to provide cover for the basic need we all have for the security of our family home as well as our place of work. It has installed the most advanced systems for the monitoring of attempted break-ins and fire detection, as also electronic audio-visual alarms, reaching all the way to your portable PC if necessary. • STATIC GUARD • Since its inception, our Firm has created a multi-staffed section for the Guarding and Surveillance of areas of every type. The training and experience of our co-workers provides a feeling of absolute safety to all of our clients. • Our staff is selected from those having served in the armed forces, on the basis of criteria involving their character, personality, letters of recommendation, their state of fitness and criminal record. • They exercise physically on a daily basis in order to be able to cope with the ever-growing demands of their duties. The Static Guard section of our Firm is made up of Guards, Chief Guards, Quality Superintendents, Supervisors and Managers. • Their performance is daily controlled by the Human Resources Management of the company, by patrols conducted by the Superintendents and by surprise rounds conducted by the Section Heads.
KARAKITSOS GROUP SERVICES(2/4) • PATROLS • Our firm has a special unit of preventive patrols, which is made up of 34 vehicles with a staff capable of dealing with any situation that might present itself, however difficult. • With its modern patrol cars it is capable of getting to the point of an alarm within a very short space of time, given the fact that the patrols of the areas covered continue throughout the night. • CONTROL CENTER • The Operational Control Center of our Firm operates on a 24-hour basis. It deploys advanced systems and software for monitoring the alarm systems of our 5,000 clients. • Furthermore, we are in constant contact with our Guards and patrol cars through a radio network so that they are all being continuously, directly informed concerning any event, in order to take the appropriate measures for the re-instatement of order, either through calling in the Police or sending in patrol cars. As an additional back up, our Guards all have a company mobile telephone.
KARAKITSOS GROUP SERVICES (3/4) • FIRE ALARMS DETECTION SYSTEMS • Our Firm uses equipment of US or Israeli origin, made by top manufacturers to ISO 9001, UL, DOC, CE, PTT and other quality standards. • The central units cover all the requirements of from 4 to 1024 zones. Their operation is effected through keyboards with or without the use of a magnetic or proximity card and they have the possibility of being connected to a PC (via a RS232 port). The alarm systems are supplied in two categories, either wired or radio-controlled. • CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION [CCTV] SYSTEMS • Our Firm has vast experience in the installation and operation of closed circuit systems for the control of professional and domestic areas. The leading edge technology employed is totally based on digital technology and can be communicated from the area being monitored to a TV, other monitor, your personal computer or wherever you happen to be (even abroad) via a telephone line.
KARAKITSOS GROUP SERVICES (4/4) • ACCESS CONTROLS • The Access Control systems provide the maximum security and access control of persons and vehicles at points of control. They are also able to locate and control every point of an open area or building. • It is also possible to sound an alarm upon any violation of the access being controlled, while also recording the events on a special video. • VIP SECURITY SERVICES • Our Firm has the appropriately experienced personnel and technology to undertake the escorting of any individual or group it is entrusted with. • Its staff has been specially trained for difficult situations and they have the abilities and experience to conduct this kind of mission. • MONEY TRANSFERS • With its heavy duty armoured vehicles and specially trained and equipped staff, our Firm is able to undertake the safe transfer of money to any part of the world, as might be requested of us.

KARAKITSOS GROUP PERSONNEL • Our staff are strictly selected, perfectly fit, coming mainly from the special forces of the Hellenic Army, finely trained as a whole and capable of coping with emergencies, within the limits set out in Greek legislation. • All our staff have the work permit required by Act 2518/97 on the establishment of security services provision companies. They are employed on a permanent, fulltime basis - not as occasional interim workers. They are paid according to the provisions of the National General Collective Agreement. • Our staff recruitment officers strictly adhere to very high standards’ criteria that constitute the guide for selection of Security Personnel in our Company.
KARAKITSOS GROUP METHOD OF PROVIDED SERVICES • In order to ensure that provision of services is as successful as possible, in every new guarding service, our Company applies a number of appropriate actions, aiming at offering Customers the highest level of guarding services, to make them feel they made a right decision in selecting our company for their specific project • The guards follow specific procedures and take actions according to their training. They personnel is fully trained in order to deal with fire alerts, bomb attacks, telephone threats, suspicious sealed packets or envelopes with dangerous powder, theft incidents, and many more.

The Team will then prepare the Port Vulnerability Report (PVR) and Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP). This information will be compiled so as to address each area (assets, policies, processes, people, etc) individually. This method will identify the exact location of interest, its operation(s), physical and information systems, associated vulnerability(s), and cardinal ranking of countermeasures to mitigate identified vulnerability(s). GLYPPIAHOLDINGS.A. BASIC ACTIVITIES It was established in 1999.The main subject is Real Estate development projects, construction and photovoltaic projects as well. In 2006 our estimated turnover is approx. 10.000.000€. Currently we have developed two main projects in the island of Rhodos and Arahova village (skiing resort) and regarding the photovoltaic sector in the area of Dodecanese islands.

GLYPPIA CATERING CO. BASIC ACTIVITIES It was established in 2006 and it’ s main activity will be the exploitation of tourist spots such as café, restaurants, cantinas.
HELLENIC CARGO CENTERS S.A. BASIC ACTIVITIES It was established in 1992 and in partnership with Lufthansa established the Cargo Center in Greece. All the handling of imports/exports of several airlines was effected through this Cargo Logistic Center. In the new airport this activity was transferred to Goldair Handling S.A
CASINO PORTO CARRAS S.A. BASIC ACTIVITIES In 1999 our company was hired as administrator by National Bank of Greece , former owner of Casino Porto Karras in the area of Chalkidiki to manage all debts and drive the company into profits. After 3 years in 2002 the company was sold to Techniki Olympiaki with no debts. The amount of money of this transaction was 34.100.000 €.
