Structure and Staffing • Branch Staffing • Bert Diphoorn appointed Branch Coordinator in December 2011 • Andre Dzikus replaced Bert as Branch Coordinator in June 2012 • Robert Goodwin appointed Unit Leader, Watsan in March 2012 • Vincent Kitio appointed Unit Leader, Urban Energy in March 2012 • DebashishBattacharjee appointed Unit Leader, Urban Mobility in Nov. 2012 4

Structure and Staffing • As per ED’s Memo of 22 March 2012: • Bert Diphoorn was appointed Senior Adviser to the ED, responsible for supervising the GWOPA Secretariat, among other tasks in OED. • The composition of the UBSB was outlined. • GWOPA Secretariat was given a special status, having in mind their planned movement to Barcelona. GWOPA reports to Bert in OED. • Graham Alabaster was seconded to WHO for a period of 2 years, reporting to WHO. 5
