  2. What are the top qualities of good students? Times have changed and so have the various tools, ideas and teaching methods of schools. For a child to possess the qualities of good students, getting good grades is not enough, to be successful they need to be multifaceted.

  3. 1) Self-Discipline: Self-discipline is the ability to control your emotions and your behavior. It’s a necessary component of character development and contributes to academic, social and personal success.The ability to control one’s emotions and behavior, or diligence in carrying out duties, is essential to success in many aspects of life from education to career.

  4. 2) Team Player: Being a team player can be hard work and isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it! Being a good team player will help you succeed in your: interpersonal relationships with teachers, students, and other team members; ability to follow group rules as well as make your own rules when necessary; ability to get along with others, especially those who are different from you; ability to do your part on a project without always being the ‘star’; ability to support others; and having fun at the same time.

  5. 3) Confident: Confidence is the key to success. Being confident in who you are and what you are doing, opens doors for success in every aspect of life.Confidence helps you to think clearly, make the right decisions, and achieve your goals. Smarter thinking leads to better results – and with confidence, you will feel more confident taking on challenges in all aspects of your life.

  6. 4) Courteous: Being polite can help you avoid conflicts with others, it encourages others to be respectful and courteous to you in return. Without it, few things would be possible, because it is the lubricant that makes social situations and professional interactions function.

  7. 5) Inquisitive: Curiosity is one of the best qualities a person could possess. If you are a student who constantly has doubts then congratulations, you are headed down the right path.As you grow up you will yourself become a cradle full of ideas and thoughts, you will be able to ask questions that change the course of various fields.
