  25. Absorber Schedule Absorber Body-#1 Schedule was 3 month delayed due to pipes modification. Absorber Body-#2 will be ordered on Jul-Aug 2009. Absorber Body-#3 will be ordered in FY2010 in Japan.

  26. Summary • The first absorber body was successfully fabricated and tested by MIRAPRO. The absorber arrived at KEK on Mar-18th at KEK. • Absorber body assemble was finished at KEK temporally. • Test cryostat preparation and DAQ programming are in progress. • Absorber parts are disassembled to extend 4 pipes +10.4 mm. This solution was accepted by the MICE-TB on May-18th. • We need enough space at large end flange to minimize risk of heat leaks. • Absorber needs a support structure on the magnet cryostat. • Schedule; Absorber Body-#1 Schedule was 3 month delayed due to pipes modification. Absorber Body-#2 will be ordered on Jul-Aug 2009. Absorber Body-#3 will be ordered in FY2010 in Japan.
