Eco Club The counting has already started but we wanted to wait till next week. P1 and P3 classes are going to have a visitor – Lindsey Taylor from RSPB. They will be making food to attract birds to the school grounds. • We would like to ask as many classes as possible to help us count starting next Monday, 26th January – Friday 6th February. • To prepare for this you could: • Watch the powerpoint with your class • Have a closer look at what birds you might like to look for • Check out the posters around school with details of birds • Do an activity
Eco Club Mrs Gillon made a map last year to show places where birds may come and where the bird feeders are. Have a look at this on the interactive white board with your class. It is also displayed just outside the office. This coming weekend, 24th & 25th January is the Big Garden Watch, where you can count birds in your garden and upload your results. You can register to do this by following this link: https://www.rspb.org.uk/birdwatch/
