Go to an internet site to find a picture of your animal. You will find the following link on the school’s web site. • http://www.animalpicturesarchive.com/
Click & Scroll down Type name of animal in search box. Click search
With the curser on top of the picture, right click your mouse. The cursor will look like a hand.
Click on copy
Click on the minimize button - Window will be stored at the bottom of the screen in a box that has a blue e and says Animal Pict
Open power point by: • Start • Programs • Microsoft Power Point
Click on Format and Click on Slide Layout
Scroll down to Content layout Click on blank box
Click on Clip board icon This will paste your picture that you copied from the web page.
Note: If you do not see the tool bar at the bottom of the screen that has the text box, you will need to display the drawing tool bar by clicking on VIEW, TOOLBARS, DRAWING if it is not checked. Click on Text box 1 time. It will have a black lined box around it after you click on it to let you know you have it turned on.
Click and drag the mouse where you want to put the text box. Note: Draw the tool box to the width you want. As you type the width will stay the same and the length will grow.
Click on fill color bucket and choose a background color for your text box. Background color should contrast with letter color to make the letters pop out to the reader. Triangle by bucket
