HUNTING • Deer • Squirrels • Llamas • They fished. • They used spears and bows.
HOW FAMILIES LIVED • The name of the Inca family unit is Ayllu. • They live by farming, they weave, and they think they are sons and daughters of the sun.
FOODS • Rats, Goats, Alpacas, and Guinea Pigs. • Fish • Sara, Chuno, and Quinua • Corn, Beans, and Squash • Quinwa
MEDICINES • Incas have surgeries • Make shots with cocoa and use plants.

Incas clothing • When the Inca people were still alive the clothing was an important aspect in their society. The Incas wore their cloths according to their position in the society. The Nobles (in higher power) wore far better clothing than the general Indians. • The basic cloths are pretty much the same. Inca men wore simple tunics the length of the tunic was really long it went all the way to their knees, and wore a cloak over the tunic. • The women wore long skirts which were usually full length which covered up to the ankle. Men and women used a cap which they tied a folded piece of cloth.
Incas religion or rituals • The Incas were very religious. • Their creator, God, was Viracocha. • Inti, the sun god, was the father of man. That is way the Incas called themselves “Children of the sun” • The Incas believed signs from god would tell them what to do.
Legends • Over four thousand years the biggest treasure to the Incas was buried in South America. In a chain of mountains called the Llanganatis.

Transportation • The Inca are well know for their roads. • They walk.
Communication • They speak Quechua (Catch-wa)
Inca Arts Mummy cloth is cloth that they use to wrap dead people in. Pottery is another art. The best pottery was in temples. common celebrations masks.
How They recorded events • They sewed some writing on their clothing. • the Inca language Quechua • The Inca numbers were called Quipus
Where they explored • They explored in Bolivia, Argentina, Chile and Ecuador
Music • They played pan pipes, trumpets, drums, and flutes. • They also sang hymns during religious ceremonies
Inventions • They made crowbars, chisels, axes, knives, club heads, and the quipus which they used to do math.
