Parental Notification • FERPA • Calls to parents or guardians • Letter from your student to you
Marijuana • Prescriptions for medical marijuana do not exempt individuals from compliance with University policies or laws related to smoking or drug use. • California law does not allow individuals to smoke or otherwise use medically prescribed marijuana in any area where smoking is prohibited and within 1000 feet of any school.

How Students Cheat • Plagiarism • Cut and paste • Word substitution or mosaic changes • Failure to cite original sources • Cheating • Copying form another student • Looking at another student’s exam • Doing work for another person
How Students Cheat Other Academic Dishonesty • Submitting the same paper or assignment for different classes • Lying to an instructor • Altering answers on a scored test and submitting it for a higher grade • Using a test bank or old exams not available to all students in the class
