  8. ANFP VISION • The Certified Dietary Manager is the cornerstone of the collaborative Dietetics profession.

  9. AnfpmISSION • Position the Certified Dietary Manager as the expert in foodservice management and food safety.

  10. Anfp Strategic Goals Goal 1: Life long Professional Development • Anfp will engage students in targeted programs annually. • CDMs will be engaged in ANFP’s Advanced Practitioner program

  11. Anfp strategic goals Goal 2 CDM Expansion • Increase the number of new CDM’s Annually.

  13. Anfp strategic goals Goal 3 Educational engagement • increase the number of members attending live events. • increase the number of CE hours members earn through ANFP educational products and programs.

SWOT Analysis(Strengths, weakness, opportunities, threats) • For mnanfp to move forward would entail small group sessions through out the state. • Having funds available for educational opportunities/meetings • State Planning committees would be developed • Committee chairs developed as directors at large

MN regional meetings • Leadership /Education meetings in south east, south west, central, north east & Northwest locations. • Partner with vendors to have these educational opportunities at vendor shows • Mentoring all members into the anfp strategic plan • Time and Cost effective opportunities to network with area colleaques • Increase awareness of anfp code of ethics • Enhance our best practices

Health care association education & relationship building • Memberships Moving out of the silo • Develop contacts representing all members such as care providers, aging services, mn school food service, hospital , APIC (infection control practitioners) and American Culinary Professionals and others as identified by members
