  2. Romans 3:23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.

  3. So what’s the big deal?!

  4. James 1:14-15 Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.

  5. Sin always brings DEATH. Always.

  6. And DEATH stinks.

  7. Psalm 19:13 Clean the slate, God, so we can start the day fresh! Keep me from stupid sins, from thinking I can take over your work; Then I can start this day sun-washed, scrubbed clean of the grime of sin.

  8. James 5:16 Make this your common practice. Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with.
