  1. Different Types of LED’s

  2. What is LED LED based on light-emitting diode. It is a p–n junction diode, which emits light when activated. When a suitable voltage is applied to the leads, electrons are able to recombine with electron holes within the device, releasing energy in the form of photons.

  3. Miniature LED’s These are the one’s you see almost every day in your life as indicators in cell phones, video sets and a range of digital devices.

  4. High Power LED These LED’s are the effect of improvements in semiconductor technology.

  5. Application Specific LED (AS-LED) These are LED’s which are produced for a particular purpose in mind. Some examples are digital billboards, public displays, bicolor & tri-color LED’s.
