  2. Phases of Collabortion • Phase I : 2010 October - December Pilot 2 Trades Beautician and Auto cad -3 months • Phase II: 2011 Jan-Oct. Expanding to 2 more schools in RYK – a total of 3 self financed/modest fees 3 Trades:Beautician,Autocad & Domestic Tailoring • Phase III: 2011 Nov- March 2012 – skills with livelihoods collaboration with UNILEVER – Guddi Baji /Beautician (3)schools in BWP • Phase IV : Scaling Up May – Nov 2012 in 9 districts Schools/Model Villages/3- More trades • Output 812 Graduates until May 2012 / 1000 - 1200 by November 2012 all 3 trades 75% women/girls - RYK, BWP, Multan, Lodhran Faisalabad, Chiniot, Kasur, Muzz., Lah. RWP

  3. Meeting Sessions with DM TEVTA • Meetings are held with District Managers TEVTA on program, locations, expansion and trades /curriculum options. • Reports of Vocational Centers of ITA are shared with them.

  4. Monitoring by TEVTA Officials • ITA Vocational Centers are visited and monitored by TEVTA officials to ensure the quality of training being given.

  5. Feed Back • Feed back of ITA Vocational Centres are shared by TEVTA officials both at District and Regional Level.

  6. Trainers are Recommended by TEVTA Officials • In case if there is no TEVTA set up in any town or village, Trainers for ITA Vocational Centers are then chosen by mutual consultation of both TEVTA & ITA officials. Interviews are then held in TEVTA offices.

  7. Graduation Ceremonies • TEVTA Officials are always a part of Graduation Ceremonies held by ITA ( Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi)

  8. Future Plans with TEVTA • Design a new certified course on Day Care Centres/Early Childhood Education … • 3 months – beginners • 3 months – intermediate • 3 months – advanced • ITA to design in collaboration with experts aligned to the National ECE Curriculum 2007 • Certified by TEVTA • Morning and Evening • Outcome: Enterprise in Day Care and recruitment by Govt./Private Sector for Nursery/Kindergarten & Katchi Classes • MicroFinance Linkage: Loans up to 100,000 as start up cost for starting a Day Care Centre
