Chinese Culture Center Cultural Seminar Series:Master Class in Singing by Professor Chai-lun YuehSponsored by Center for East Asian Studies, CCSU A master class is a lesson given by a professional musician to a small group of students. In this case, the students will each have prepared a piece of music to sing to the teacher. The teacher will point out the strengths and the weaknesses and suggest how to improve the singing techniques. There is usually an audience observing at a master class. Date: Sunday, 5/10/2009 Time: 9:30 – 11:30am Place: Founders Hall (in Davidson Hall) Central Connecticut State University, 1615 Stanley St., New Britain, CT There will be a short lecture on vocal techniques before the singing. Professor Yueh will choose the students for the class with priority given to CCC members. However, all are welcomed to attend free as audience.
