  3. Birth name • His birth name was actually Johannes ChrysostomusWolfgangusTheophilusMozart but his father eventually shortened it. • He changed Wolfgangus to Wolfgang. • Translated Theophilus to Amadeus which means “love of God” • All together dropped Johannes and Chrysostomus

  4. Hometown Born in Salzburg, Austria

  5. Family • Mother: Anna Maria Pertl • Father: Leopold Mozart • Sister: Maria Anna • Maria Anna was also very talented on the piano

  6. Early Interest for Music • At the mere age of 3 Mozart developed his interest in music after seeing a performance of the local orchestra lead by his father.
