  2. Birth • Johannes ChrysostomusWolfgangusTheophilus Mozart was born on January 27, 1756 in Salzburg Austria. • His parents were Leopold and Anna Maria Mozart. • He had 7 sibling but 5 of them died as infants. Mozart’s birth home

  3. Early Years • Began playing the Clavier at the age of 4 with his fathers assistance. • It immediately became apparent that he was a prodigy! • Began composing his own music at the age of 5. Young Mozart

  4. Early Years • Mozart and his sister began traveling and performing with their parents. • In 1762 he performed for the Prince of Munich, Germany. • They toured for 3 ½ years. • Johann Christian Bach was a big influence on Mozart at this time. Young Mozart, sister Nannerl, and father Leopold
