3. Mozart started to play the harpsichord when he was three and the violin when he was five. He was a student to his father.

4. Mozart's mother, Anna Maria Mozart, died July 3, 1778 when he was 22.

5. Mozart's father, Leopold, was Mozarts teacher. Mozart became his father's star pupil. His father taught him to play the harpsichord and violin.

6. Mozart had one sister, Maria Anna Mozart, nicknamed Nannerl. She often played with Mozart and sang many of his vocal compositions. She went on tour around Europe with Mozart. The two earned the title "The Wonder Children."

7. Mozart's father took him and his sister on tour around Europe. The two never earned much money, but the two earned the nickname "The Wonder Children." The duo played for emperors, empresses, and queens.

8. Mozart married Constanze Weber Mozart on August 4, 1782. Mozart and Constanze had 6 children together. Four sons, Franz Xaver Wolfgang, Karl Thomas, Johann Thomas Leopold, and Raimund Leopold, and two daughters, Theresia Constanzia Adelheid Friedericke Maria Anna, and Maria Anna. Only two children lived to adulthood, Karl Thomas and Franz Xaver Wolfgang.

9. Mozart died on December 5, 1791. He died from kidney failure at only 32 years old. His body was buried in a mass unmarked grave, because he died in poverty. Nobody knows exactly where he lies.

10. Mozart wrote about 600 compositions during his lifetime. One of his most famous was an opera, The Magic Flute. Another one of his most famous was Eine Kleine NachtMusik.
