Who? How? How? • Provide parents with effective communication around both councils activities/ decisions/ planning eg. Bi-monthly Home & School Meetings • Engaging parents in volunteer opportunities eg. Pizza Lunch, Mayfair • Establishing school time, lunchtime/ after school enrichment programs as wanted by parents eg. Programs and Sports Committee • Helping teachers/staff enhance our school spirit and sense of community eg. Spirit Committee • Establishing effective fundraisers and distributing the funds as voted by parents eg. Cabaret, Mayfair, Social Event Series, Pizza Lunch Actively inputting into: School priorities, policies and programs for improving student achievement (academics, sports, arts/music/culture, community outreach) Developing annual Bessborough action plan for school improvement Creating annual principal profiles Any matter parents feel is important
