Demand for new eHealth services • Overview of health care contacts and content • New types of communicating with the health care • Reporting eg. health status before appointments • Asking questions prior to an appointment • Ability to follow certain health care processes, eg. the referral time, the continuum of care • Active participation in own health and care
VISION AND OBJECTIVES Vision and objectives of the project
Create increased patient commitment • New information and communication channels • Individualized patient information • Inviting new players in the market • Encouraging co-production • Encourage new services, notably health status and nutrition • Increase the patient’s empowerment • Improved transparency in health care processes • Let patients administer, own and manage their own processes • Increase the safety of health care • Reduces the risk of mistakes
Focus on four health care processes, relating to: • Stroke – Stockholm County Council • Lung cancer – Stockholm County Council • Hip surgery – Skåne Regional Council • Heart disease – Region Västra Götaland • Develop methods and guidelines • Describe the development of other health care processes and ancillary services • Co-production with trade associations representing health care, industry and the patients. Make it possible to solve problems together • Stimulation for the development of new products • Enablement of a new service sector, both inside and outside the county council
