  7. The Message Engineers: Engineers make the world a better place by designing projects that protect and improve water quality

  8. The Message 30 seconds is not a lot of time • Radio station personnel assisted with developing the script to fit the allotted time. • Radio station personality recorded the PSA’s for us

  9. The Message • Developed 5 different versions • Broadcast 40 times during E-week

  10. The Cost $1,000 for 40–30 second PSA’s broadcastduring E-week

  11. The Funding • Year 1 - $750 SPAG and $250 Branch • Year 2 - $350 SPAG, $250 Branch, $200 each from the City and County

  12. Lessons Learned • Start early • ABC’s – Accurate, Brief, Clear • Focus on Brief • Use a positive message • Be Flexible • Get the message out
