  6. “Mom!” yelled Gilbert, “Toby’s staring out the window again!”

  7. Gilbert walked over and looked out the window, too.

  8. “What do you see, Toby?” he asked.

  9. Gilbert looked and saw Mr. Perozzi selling hot dogs. What did Toby see?

  10. Toby saw Mr. Perozzi handing out free hot dogs the size of watermelons!

  11. Gilbert saw a squirrel. What did Toby see?

  12. Toby saw a friend he could play with on the swings in the park.

  13. Gilbert looked and saw Mr. Leopold, the mailman. What did Toby see?

  14. Gilbert saw a tree. What did Toby see?

  15. Toby saw a dog-treehouse, where he could see for miles in every direction!

  16. Gilbert saw flowers in his Mom’s garden. What did Toby see?

  17. Toby saw a jungle to explore!

  18. Gilbert saw Fritz, the neighbor’s cat, that Toby liked to chase. What did Toby see?

  19. Toby saw himself racing to win the Grand Prix!

  20. Gilbert said “Silly dog. There’s nothing out there to see.”

  21. Gilbert went back to playing with his trucks.
