Apprehensive • Ramona Quimby was apprehensive about the new baby coming to join their family.
Thrilled • Ramona was thrilled to learn she could go and see the baby in the hospital.
Disenchanted • Ramona became disenchanted with her visit when she learned she could not see her new baby in the hospital.
Incensed • After thinking about the nurse not letting her into the nursery, Ramona became incensed.

perturbed • Z was perturbed that he was at the end of the alphabet.
Jaded • A jaded Z felt lonely and unwanted.
Miffed • Z was miffed that no one would come with him and other letters would not join him in a new alphabet.
Cross • Z became very cross when the new letters began to fight among themselves.
