Motivation • Open forum for discussing operational issues of regional significance • Open forum for sharing operational information from each country in Asia • Participants include ISP network engineers and network operators
History • Intended as Asia Pacific equivalent of North American NANOG, European EOF, and African AfNOG • Existed for many years as a mailing list • Now also occupies a slot in the 6 monthly APNIC meeting
