2. During the past decade, new practices have emerged which can facilitate the transformation of individuals and society and enable them to adapt and better reach their aspirations.

3. Principle What we should do? To sustain competitiveness and progress in the 21sty century, we should: • apply innovation to address challenges, • embrace a new national strategy to strengthen and sustain our innovation ecosystem, and • share responsibility among multiple innovation stakeholders.

4. Goal • Have one million people trained in Europe in 2010

5. How • The transfer of knowledge, the train the trainer training, the virtual training, an increasing number of people aware and trained will increase the number of people trained.

6. So Far…in 2005 • Train the trainer training in Estonia before the January Winter Camp 2005, with Ukraine, Ireland, Czech Republic and Estonia. • On September 29 a group of people met virtually to discuss the possibility of 7CTtraining in Europe. (Virtual and non virtual) • A virtual train the trainer training took place using the ‘Elluminate’ technology (www.elluminate.com) on Wednesday October 26 and the 5 following Wednesdays • Training at ENST (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications) in Paris for 12 students doing a master in multimedia production on November 7&8, 2005.

7. Next Steps • Define the vision • Training in Paris February 6-7-8 in French organized by UTC • Networking with EOQ members trained • Keep track of the deployement of 7CT in EU • Develop Goal Europe
