  4. Historical Context • Our involvement with MQA started in 2004 • Self Assessment – Fall 2006 • 1st MQA application – May 2008 • 2nd MQA application – May 2009 • More MQA examiners in Park Hill • 2 in 2006 • 5 in 2009

The MQA Process May 1 Park Hill submitted application for MQA May - June MQA Examiners reviewed application July Examiner team developed consensus results August 5 MQA Judges reviewed consensus results August Site visits awarded to best applicants Sept 27 - Oct 2 Park Hill’s MQA site visit Oct 20-21 Judges’ final review November Feedback report received

Why are we doing this? • External, objective review of our district’s processes and results • Valuable insight into improving our overall performance • Tailored to our organization • Comprehensive feedback report detailing our strengths and opportunities for improvement • Highly recommended by previous applicants

  7. Why are we doing this? Improvements that resulted from last year’s feedback: • Classified staff member goals aligned with CSIP, BSIP, FACES • Performance-to-budget reports for each unit • Workplace safety monitoring • Introduced Park Hill Quality Academy to enhance understanding of The MQA criteria for performance excellence • Inclusion of suppliers and partners on strategic planning teams • Further deployment of ADDIE • Further deployment of Continuous Improvement Classrooms
