The slides have been left without special labels but key words have been included. Teachers can develop this resource further. Points to note: Picture 7 – the lateral moraine is covering the glacier which cannot be seen beneath it – the insert shows how material accumulates at the base – 8 – the insert shows how meltwater streams rework glacial deposits, 9 – the recessional moraine holds back a small meltwater lake.
