Workshop Goals • Present the results of an extensive review of existing data • Identify rationale for determining a downstream boundary for the study • Propose data gaps • Discuss a path forward for the Columbia River Component
DOE Perspective • Data Compilation (WCH-64) issued in January 2006 after completion of 10 workshops occurring from December 2004 to September 2005 • Data Evaluation and Summary (WCH-91) issued in July 2006 • Overview of Evaluation results presented at several different meetings last year, including the NRTC and HAB • February 20, 2007 - RL, EPA, and Ecology discussed path forward and agreed to perform a data gap analysis
Next Steps • The Data Gap Analysis report will be used to initiate a DQO Process to focus what additional sampling will be required to support a screening level risk assessment. • This will be followed by preparation of a SAP and subsequent sampling. • At this time contractual arrangements for this work need to be finalized.
