This project by the Downtown Urban Design Laboratory at the University of Arizona, in collaboration with Pima County Parks and Recreation, seeks to re-imagine the Rillito River Corridor through alternative rehabilitation strategies. It aims to address edge conditions and fluvial corridor challenges, while also considering design alternatives and cantilever structures. This initiative also explores the re-forming of the relationship between the Tucson Mall site and the Rillito River Corridor. The project presentation day will take place at the Downtown Studio Office. Sources include Global Footprint Network and Europe 2005 Report, as well as the University of Arizona School of Planning and Landscape Architecture.
