  4. School-Wide Expectations What do these look/sound like? • Dress for Success • Use respectful communication • Be a POSITIVE leader • Be prompt and prepared to learn • Stay focused

  5. School-Wide Procedures • All students are to report to the gym in the morning. Your 1st period teacher will come pick up your class around 7:50 a.m. • You will be walked to the cafeteria by your 4th period teacher and sit with your 6th period class. Your 6th period teacher will pick you up from the cafeteria after lunch. • You will walk straight from the cafeteria to your class. Restroom breaks are to be done during lunch.

  6. School-Wide Procedures continued • Students will ONLY be allowed to use the restroom as a class at designated times in order to better keep you safe and avoid vandalism. • Hallways – Walk on the RIGHT side of the hallways. Walk to avoid injuring others. • Dismissal – Remain seated when the bell rings. I will dismiss you when I am ready. I will dismiss you by groups.

  7. Starting Procedure • Be in your seat and ready to start before the bell rings. (Sharpen pencils and get materials out before the bell) • The objective and assignment will be written on the board daily. Read the board to see what to do when you come in the room. • Where to turn in work – in baskets labeled by class • Flag/Pledge of Allegiance/Moment of Silence • Teacher’s Desk –”my” stuff • When Teacher is not in room, do NOT come in. • Using the trash can – use the one closest to you.
