  2. Principles of Constructivism • Knowledge and beliefs are formed within the learner • Learners give experiences meaning via their values, beliefs and previous experiences • Learning activities should cause learners to access their previous experiences, knowledge and beliefs

  3. Principles of Constructivism • Who they are and where they come from affects students’ learning individually and collectively. • Learning is social and is enhanced by shared inquiry. • Reflection is essential for constructing knowledge and meaning.

  4. Principles of Constructivism • Student self-assessment increases their learning. • Outcomes of the learning process are varied and unpredictable.
