Standards of Behavior • Be courteous, no drugs/alcohol, no cursing, good manners • Respect adult chaperones (comply with directions, promptly / courteously) • Travel in groups when away from Woodbridge’s regatta site • Need escort outside area between the boat trailer & regatta site • No "staking out" floor space in tent area. When you leave, gather up personal items and set them to the side of the tent area • At the hotel, be respectful of other hotel guests. Control volume of conversations in common areas, elevators, hallways • Wear appropriate clothing at all times • No switching rooms • No one needs to go into the stairwells at the hotel • No “Purple” (ask your coach to explain)
What to Pack? • Plan on unpredictable weather…hot, cold, wet, dry (it will have rained there before the event this year) • Pack for both extremes • We are outside for 10-12 hours per day • Bring extra socks/sun screen/rain gear • Put athlete’s name on everything they bring • Difficult to leave and return by car
Itinerary • Thurs, 23 May • TBD • Friday, 24 May • 7:00 a.m – Bus takes athletes to regatta site based on schedule • 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. – Lt. Weight weigh-ins and races • 5:00 p.m. – Bus takes athletes back to hotel • 7:30 p.m. – Pasta dinner for athletes (at hotel) • 10:00 p.m. – lights out
Costs • Cost per rower: • $300.00 • Checks or credit card accepted • Charge includes • Transportation (47-passenger bus) • Breakfasts and lunches during regatta (hot and cold food) • Pasta dinner (Friday) • Hotel accommodation (two nights) • Regatta registration fees • Boat trailer transportation costs
What do Parents need to do? • Attend Final Regatta Orientation meeting on 20 May – Mandatory • 7:30 PM Lower Cafeteria • Pay Regatta fee • Fill out Permission slips and rules statement • If not done already • Volunteer! • Ensure athletes are prepared (pack appropriately, extra money, medications, sun screen, etc)
Logistics • Lodging: Wyndham Hotel, Mt. Laurel, NJ • 20 rooms reserved for Rowers & Coaches • Rate is $89.00 per night (includes tax) • Parents must make their own reservations • 856-234-7000 • Same hotel as Stotesbury! • Check-in: Thursday, 23 May • Check-out: Saturday, 25 May • Parents drive or buy seat on bus

Stotesbury Away RegattasVolunteers • Advance Party • Who: 1 minimum • What: Set up at Regatta Site • Thur - Set up green tents, tarps at Regatta Site • When: Depart Woodbridge at NLT 6:30 AM, 23 May (Thursday) to secure Regatta Site (Cooper River) • POC: Gary Tallman
SRAA Nationals Regatta Volunteers • Bag Checkers • Who: Two (2) Volunteers Needed • What: Check rower bags for medications, glass bottles, dangerous items, etc. • Where: Woodbridge High School • When: 23 May (Thur), 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM • POC: TBD
SRAA Nationals RegattaVolunteers • Room Chaperones • Who: Three (3) Volunteers • What / Where: • Issue/collect keys, patrol corridors, head counts, help rowers as needed • Inspect rooms before check-in and after check-out • When: • Friday 8:00 PM– 10:00 PM • POC: TBD
SRAA Nationals Regatta Volunteers • Kitchen Support Operations • Who: 8 Volunteers • What: • (4) Willing to drive and transport coolers/food bins for morning prep • Food preparation – breakfast and lunch (small kitchen set up) for hot and cold food. • Site clean-up • When: • Friday 24 May and Saturday 25 May • ~6:30 AM to ~2:00 PM each day • POC: Gary Tallman
