Apollo • Apollo is the son of Zeus and Leto. His twin sister is Artemis. He is the god of music, playing a golden lyre. The Archer, very good at far shooting with a silver bow. The god of healing who taught man medicine.
Athena • Athena was born fully-armed from the forehead of her father Zeus - according to one story, this is because he swallowed her mother, Métis, while she was pregnant with Athena. • One of her titles is "Grey-eyed". Her gift to the Greeks was the useful olive tree.
Apollo • The god of light. The god of truth, who can not speak a lie. One of Apollo's more important daily tasks is to harness his chariot with four horses and drive the Sun across the sky.

Apollo • His tree was the laurel. The crow his bird. The dolphin his animal. He is also The god of light.
Apollo • Although often associated with the sun, Apollo was not originally a sun god. In Homer, he is god of prophecy and plagues
Athena • Athena appeared in The Odyssey. • Her name is mentioned 162 times in The Odyssey.
Apollo • His twin sister is Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt.Apollo drives the sun across the sky everyday with his chariot. His father is Zues, and his mother is Leto. They had an affair why Zues was with Hera.
Apollo • Apollo did not only love young women and nymphs, for there are a few young men he appeared to be most fond of.
Athena • The Greek goddess Athena championed many heroes, offering them her advice and protection, helping them to win their battles. In one of her most famous adventures Athena would assume the shape of various men, women, and children to guide the wandering Odysseus. Her protection allowed the suffering hero to finally return safely to his home and family. Nike, the goddess who personified Winged Victory, often accompanied the goddess Athena. Not surprising, since "Athena, Goddess of War" never lost a battle.
Apollo • Apollo appears in a famous book and movie called Hercules! He also had many biographys written about them.
Athena • Athena’s son was born after a failed rape attempt when his father's seed fell upon the fertile earth.

Athena • Athena as the goddess of philosophy became an aspect of the cult in Classical Greece during the late 5th century BC. She is the patroness of various crafts, especially of weaving, as Athena Ergane.
